Samantha Dobiszewski
CO-Director, GDC
Samantha began her career at an early age, following in the footsteps of her mother Melissa Braine. Samantha trained throughout high school under dance influences such as Al Blackstone, Thang Dao, Sara Pyun, and many more. With hard work, dedication and a passion for the art of dance, Samantha earned a large scholarship to the University of The Arts in Philadelphia through NYCDA Scholarship Foundation. While attending UArts, Samantha trained with faculty members and well renowned choreographers such as Scott Jovovich, Wayne St. David, Roni Koresh, Hope Boykin, Douglas Becker and Adam Barruch. During her college dance career, she performed in a featured role in a work set by Hope Boykin, current company member of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. In 2014 she graduated with honors from UArts, Samantha earned a BFA in Jazz Dance Performance. She was also chosen out of her fellow peers as the 2014 recipient of "Outstanding Performance in Jazz." Upon graduation, Samantha traveled to Chicago to train with the renowned Giordano Dance Chicago, America's original jazz dance company. Under the instruction of Nan Giordano, company director, Samantha earned her certification in Giordano Technique, allowing her to share this traditional jazz style throughout her teaching. Samantha is currently continuing her dance training & career in NJ/NYC. After 10 years as a dance instructor, Samantha is ready and dedicated to be able to finally share her love and passion for dance with her own students at Generations Dance Company.
Megan Braine
CO-Director, GDC
Megan Braine began dancing at an early age. Megan’s training in dance started at the age of two, continued throughout high school, and currently continues training to further her career. Throughout her adolescence, Megan was a varsity cheerleader. Since high school, Megan continues her dance training and career in NJ/NYC. She received her Associates degree in Education, from Middlesex County College. While studying at Middlesex County College, Megan performed in the Middlesex Dance Ensemble performance “Vinyl”, as well as their “17th Annual Fall Concert.” In 2018 she performed with the company, The Dance Collective, in “Waves” in Hartford CT. Megan also performed with Artistic Visions Dance Company in Cranford, NJ in 2019. Megan is a Former 3x NFL Cheerleader for the NY Jets and In 2020, alongside her mother and sister, Megan founded Generations Dance Company as Co Director, a family owned dance studio.
Melissa Braine
CO-DIRECTOR/Preschool Mini Program Director, GDC
Miss Melissa, has been teaching her love of dance to the youngest dancers for 29 years! Not only does her passion for dance shine through her teaching, but her loveable personality, positive impact and humbled heart, captures the minds of all young dancers while molding them with professional level and proper technique. Melissa is a teacher unlike any other! All of her students love every second of dancing all while being engaged throughout her classes. As Director of our Preschool Program, Miss Melissa teaches the building blocks and important fundamentals of technique needed in order for your dancer to excel and grow into the beautiful artists they capable of being. She meets the needs of all individual learners/dancers in a creative and fun atmosphere! Miss Melissa is one of a kind and will provide the highest quality of dance instruction for our youngest dancers here at Generations Dance Company.
Mary Ann Massa
Instructor, GDC
Mary Ann Massa was born and raised in Old Bridge, New Jersey, which is where she trained in all styles of dance. Mary Ann graduated from The Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College in 2019 with a BFA in dance and a concentration in Ballet. During her time at Purchase, she had the opportunity to perform works by George Balanchine, Norbert De La Cruz lll, Gregory Dawson, Michelle Thompson Ulerich, and Stuart Loungway. Additionally, she got to perform a duet at the Kuan Du Arts Festival in Taiwan in 2017 choreographed by Norbert De La Cruz lll. She attended workshops and programs at Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Ballet X, San Francisco Conservatory Forsythe Program,The Rock School, and more. Mary Ann was a dancer with New Jersey Ballet for 3 years under Maria Kowroski and danced with Complexions ContemporaryBallet for one season. She is now a freelance artist in New York City and is very passionate about teaching dance to the younger generation.
Frances Fuller
Instructor, GDC
Frances Fuller grew up in New Jersey where she started dancing at the age of 5. She went to The Hartt School at The University of Hartford in Connecticut where she received her BFA in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet Pedagogy. During her time there Frances worked with world renowned choreographers and teachers such as Stephen Pier, Nina Watt, Adam Barruch, Doug Varone, Miki Orihara, and Take Ueyama. She studied ballet, pointe, modern, and contemporary at The Hartt School. Frances found her love for pilates during her time in college and was mat certified before she graduated. Post graduation, Frances has performed with The Hartford Dance Collective and Mignolo Dance, and she continues to educate dancers throughout New Jersey. She is also a fully certified Pilates instructor and teaches at Sentirsi Pilates Studio and Limitless Fitness NJ.
Patrick Daniel
Instructor, GDC
Patrick Daniel is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer living in Brooklyn, New York. While attending high school he had extensive training with Orlando Ballet, ABT Austin, The Rock School, and Joffrey Ballet. Upon completion of high school he attended the University Of The Arts in Philadelphia on full scholarship for 2 years. After his second year in college Patrick began touring with Bad Boys of Ballet for 5 years across Europe and performing at various industrials. Patrick has also danced with Stacey Tookey’s Still Motion Dance Company, shot a music video for Logo TV and shot a commercial for the brand OPPO. Most recently in 2021 Patrick worked in Dubai at the Expo 2020 for a residency show with a Stacey Tookey. Now residing in New York he teaches and choreographs for professional and preprofessional students globally and signed as a dancer with MSA Agency.
Victoria Depinto
Instructor for Pop Up Classes, GDC
Victoria’s love for cheerleading and gymnastics started at a young age. This love drove her to be a competitive gymnast for 12 years. Once in high school she was a 4 year varsity cheerleader and brought her love of cheer to college. She attended Montclair State University where she cheered for 4 years and competed at College Nationals in Daytona Florida. During college Victoria became a part of the National Cheerleaders Association. By being an NCA instructor she got to share her love for cheer, dedication, and leadership with many schools throughout the state. Victoria is now a High School teacher where she not only teaches but also coaches a high school cheer team as well. Victoria cannot wait to share her knowledge of cheerleading and gymnastics with her students at Generations Dance Company.
